It was a tragic disaster that affected Sri Lanka quite severely. Every year, Sri Lanka faces floods in some parts of the island due to heavy rains. Flooding has been number one on the disaster list that affects people in Sri Lanka. Apart from those disasters, Sri Lanka also faces plagues and infections because it is an island as the wind carries germs and bacteria.
Every year, Sri Lanka faces floods, and in 2018, Sri Lanka suffered a massive hit in the Southwest due to monsoon floods. The entire southwestern province got affected by losing their properties and lives.
